Sykes-Pickavant GO1471 Induction Heating System is a 13 kW stationary induction heater suitable for heavy automotive and industrial use where clean, controlled heating is required. Like the GO1470, it uses an inverter generator operating at approximately 15-30 kHz from a 400 V three phase plus earth 50 Hz supply via an IEC60309 connection. It is supplied with around 8 metres of electrical cable and a 4.25 metre inductor cable with a ready-to-use tip. A 20 litre liquid cooling tank and hydraulic heat exchanger with fan maintain operating temperature, while electronic safety protection and adjustable heating levels are controlled through a 5 in colour touch panel. With IP21 protection rating and dimensions about 1057 x 963 x 571 mm and weight roughly 120 kg, this 13 kW induction heater is ideal for releasing corroded bolts, pins and bearings, straightening and preheating before welding in sensitive environments where open flames are undesirable.Additional InformationInduction heating is a non-contact method that can be used to heat metals.
