Sykes-Pickavant 18780500 C Clamp is a heavy duty press frame designed for dismantling and installing suspension bushes and similar components directly on the vehicle. With a jaw opening of approximately 245 mm and a throat depth around 100 mm, it can reach around control arms, hubs and subframes to apply pressing force without removing the complete assembly. The special trapezoidal threaded screw allows greater force to be applied than a conventional thread, and the base cup is compatible with gold and silver rings from Sykes-Pickavant universal press frames and XS sleeve kits. The impact screw can be removed and replaced with a 1500 or 1800 Series hydraulic ram for even higher loads, and the tool is designed for use with an impact gun if required.
