The Sykes Pickavant 12740300 Mechanical Hub Puller - 3 Leg, 160 mm is a robust hub puller that forms part of Sykes Pickavant's interchangeable hub puller range. It can be configured for 3, 4 or 5 leg operation (extra legs required for 4/5€‘leg use) and is suitable for 4-, 5- and 6€‘stud hubs with pitch circles up to 203 mm. The kit includes a heavy€‘duty force screw and puller plate with 18 mm stud holes and 1½" BSW threads for both the impact screw and optional hydraulic ram. With a leg reach of 160 mm and a spread capacity of 100-180 mm, it covers many passenger car and light commercial hubs. Supplied in a steel storage case, the 12740300 can also be used with the 08520900 5 kg slide hammer (via adaptor 08531270) or with a 1500 series ram for controlled hydraulic pulling.
