Sykes-Pickavant GO1470 Induction Heating System is a powerful 18 kW stationary induction heater designed for intensive industrial and heavy vehicle applications. It uses an inverter generator to create an alternating magnetic field at frequencies between about 15 and 30 kHz, inducing currents in ferrous components and heating them without an open flame. Operating from a 400 V three phase plus earth 50 Hz supply through an IEC60309 connection, the system includes approximately 8 metres of electrical cable and a 4.5 metre inductor cable with a ready-to-use tip. A 20 litre liquid cooling tank and hydraulic heat exchanger with fan manage operating temperatures, while electronic safety protection and adjustable heating level settings are accessed via a 5 in colour touch control panel. With IP21 protection rating and overall dimensions around 1057 x 963 x 571 mm and weight about 132 kg, this 18 kW induction heater is ideal for unlocking bolts, pins and bearings, straightening and preheating before welding.Additional InformationInduction heating is a non-contact method that can be used to heat metals.
