The Sykes Pickavant GO960 Valve Spring Compressor - 196 kgf is a universal pneumatic valve spring compressor designed for assembling and disassembling valves on petrol and diesel engines. Intended for engines with four or five valves per cylinder, it significantly reduces the time required for valve work, with potential savings of 60-70% during assembly. The kit includes three adaptors for valve plate sizes and eight reduction rings covering plates from approximately 19.8-50 mm, allowing use on both small and large valves from cars to vans. The open design of the mounting adapters provides easy access to valve plates and collets, making work on multivalve heads more straightforward. Built around a lightweight aluminium chassis with a precisely controllable pneumatic cylinder, it operates at 6-10 bar and delivers about 118 kg of force at 6 bar and up to 196 kgf at 10 bar.
