The Sykes Pickavant 31434900 Injector / Dummy Extension is an accessory designed to be used with the Sykes Pickavant diesel compression gauge 31420100. It enables compression tests to be carried out through the injector port where direct access is required, providing a secure connection between the gauge hose and the combustion chamber. The kit includes an adjustable centre body, detachable injector end and locking brackets, allowing the extension to be adapted to different injector layouts. It can also be connected to dummy glow plugs to extend their length for improved access on engines where the glow plug is set deep into the head. Compact at around 220 x 50 x 50 mm and weighing 0.37 kg, the extension is easy to handle and store in diagnostic kits.
