Sykes Pickavant 08120000 Universal Wheel Bearing Kit is a comprehensive on€‘vehicle solution for removal and installation of flanges and wheel bearings without removing suspension struts or wheel hubs from the vehicle, where access permits. Supplied in a storage case, the kit uses a combination of press plates, spindles and extraction bolts to configure a square, accurately aligned pressing arrangement around the bearing. This approach virtually eliminates damage to surrounding components and removes the need to extract stubborn hub pinch bolts commonly found on modern VAG vehicles such as Audi A4 and VW Passat. Bearings are supported on nut assemblies to reduce drag while being pushed in or out, and flange extraction bolts are provided to speed up hub removal.
