The Sykes Pickavant 027296SS Flaremaster2 Brake Flaring Kit 4.75 & 6mm for Stainless Steel is a compact, handheld solution for producing high€‘quality brake pipe flares directly on the vehicle. Designed around the original Flaremaster2 concept, it features a quick€‘release chuck for secure punch engagement, a fast€‘turn coarse€‘thread hydraulic ram for rapid set€‘up, and a locking bolt with swivel pin for swift tightening. Interchangeable dies are held in place by magnets, while the strengthened bridge and ergonomic handle improve comfort and durability in daily workshop use. The kit produces SAE and DIN single and double flares on 4.75 mm and 6 mm brake pipe, making it ideal for repair sections after accident damage or corrosion. Because stainless steel brake pipe is harder to form than copper or cupro€‘nickel, a special metal forming compound is included to help the material flare correctly.
