Sykes Pickavant GO970 Valve Spring Compressor 125 Kgf is a universal pneumatic machine designed for rapid, safe assembly and disassembly of engine valves on both petrol and diesel engines. Intended primarily for multi-valve cylinder heads with 4 or 5 valves per cylinder, the tool uses a controllable pneumatic cylinder and interchangeable adaptors to compress valve springs efficiently while leaving clear access to the valve plates and collets. Eight reduction rings cover valve plate diameters from approximately 19.8 mm to 50 mm, allowing use on small car engines through to larger van applications. The open adapter design makes it easier to position and retrieve valve collets, while the lightweight, high-strength aluminium chassis improves handling around the bench. Operating from 6-10 bar air pressure, the GO970 can deliver up to 125 kgf spring compression force, significantly reducing manual effort and cutting valve train build time by up to 60-70% compared with traditional mechanical compressors.Additional InformationUniversal pneumatic tool for assembling and disassembling engine valves, suitable for all types of valves on petrol and diesel engines.
