Sykes Pickavant 33190000 319 Cooling System Kit - Car is a universal radiator and expansion tank pressure test kit built around the 319 Series expansion plug system. Designed for use with the included hand pump, it features a precision gauge and pressure release valve for safe, controlled testing of automotive cooling circuits. The patented tapered expansion plugs cover a wide range of neck diameters using just a few sizes, allowing coverage from small cars to light commercials. A safety retaining clamp improves security on plastic bottles, high€‘temperature systems or contaminated neck surfaces, reducing the risk of plug ejection under pressure. The kit supports leak detection, temperature testing and thermostat/thermo€‘switch operation checks, using the supplied thermometer and blanking caps for both on€‘vehicle and off€‘vehicle testing. With a range of just 5 plug sizes, it is possible to cover a very wide range of applications, from small cars to commercial vehicles & heavy plant. The Safety Retaining Clamp has been specially designed to provide added safety in certain applications, e.g. plastic expansion bottles, situations of extreme cold, or very high water temperatures, and when it is not practical to fully clean the surfaces of the aperture neck. The Safety Retaining Clamp greatly reduces the risk of the expansion clamp slipping from its fixed position, particularly under high pressure, and it is recommended to be used for all applications. Blanking caps are also provided with the Ë319 Series System Testers, in order to perform radiator sealing tests, off the vehicle.
