Sykes Pickavant 18771000 Swivel Ball Joint Tool - D2/P38 is an on€‘vehicle solution for removing and refitting twin swivel ball joints on Land Rover Discovery 2 (1998-2004) and Range Rover P38A (1994-2002) front axles. Instead of removing complete axle assemblies for press work, technicians can bring the press directly to the vehicle using this dedicated tool in conjunction with the Sykes Pickavant 187000V2 universal press frame and hydraulic ram. The carefully engineered adaptors and support pieces apply 12 tonnes of controlled force directly to the swivel joints, helping release heavily corroded or seized components without damaging the axle housing. Designed, tested and manufactured in Great Britain, the kit allows accurate alignment during installation, supporting long€‘lasting joint performance.
