Building or upgrading an ECOmate® sweeping system - or replacing a worn canopy - requires the correct galvanized steel hood unit matched to the sweep width in use. The Osborn ECOmate® Midimate Canopy is the galvanized steel canopy (hood) for the ECOmate® sweeper system, sized at 1,820 mm (6ft / 1.8m) sweep width. This canopy-only SKU supplies the 3 mm galvanized steel hood with integrated fork-shoes and protective end-shields, without brush strips - allowing operators to build or rebuild the sweeper system using separately sourced strip sets. The ECOmate® is the Perfect quality tier of the Osborn Broomate® sweeper range: lighter 3 mm galvanized steel construction compared to the 5 mm hood of the Broomate® Superior range. Compatible with Broomate® Brush Recharge Kit strips. Once fitted with strips, the ECOmate® system operates with no rotating parts, no motors and no electrical components - bi-directional sweeping on forklift trucks and other vehicles.
