UU Shear Mounts are designed to load the rubber in shear, thereby providing a soft vertical spring rate. This allows for an excellent level of isolation. These anti-vibration mounts are generally produced in natural rubber to ensure optimum performance.
Applications include low-speed machines, fans, and small generators. They are equally suitable for the protection of instruments and apparatus from surrounding shock and vibration.
