Sykes-Pickavant 085900V2 Vibro Impact Glowplug Remover is a specialised kit for the safe removal of 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 mm glow plugs that are seized in the cylinder head. It uses a Vibro-Impact air gun that applies controlled torque levels of up to 40 Nm while generating vibration to break corrosion bonds, reducing the risk of snapping glow plugs and damaging alloy heads. Four low-torque vibration settings (10, 20, 30 and 40 Nm) provide fine control, and the kit includes long reach glow plug sockets in 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 mm sizes, plus long and short extensions and a universal joint for difficult access. The 1/4 in square drive air tool operates at around 6.3 bar and consumes approximately 250 litres per minute at up to 12,000 rpm.
