BG Ethanol Fuel System Drier (281E, 345ml) absorbs moisture in ethanol-blended petrol (PN 281) and prevents the water separation that corrodes injectors, fuel pumps and metal tank surfaces. Modern E10 petrol is hygroscopic ” it readily absorbs water from the atmosphere, particularly in vehicles that sit unused for extended periods. BG Ethanol Fuel System Drier (PN 281) disperses absorbed moisture as a stable blend with the fuel, allowing it to be burned safely through the engine without damaging fuel system components. Particularly recommended for motorcycles, garden machinery and seasonal vehicles that use E10 petrol and sit between uses for weeks at a time. Use 50ml per 15 litres (4 gallons) of petrol, or 3 oz (approximately 90ml) for larger tanks. The 345ml bottle provides several treatments at the standard dose.
