Automatic thermal overload protection cuts output if the machine exceeds safe temperature. For operators comparing AC/DC TIG welders for and steel, the 08204 provides both AC output for and DC output for mild steel and stainless steel in a single machine — no need for separate dedicated units. TIG mode requires tungsten electrodes and shielding gas (Argon or Argon/Helium mix) for clean, precise welds on steel and stainless steel. Input Supply: 230v (16A). Replacement consumables for the 08204 are available at PartsForMachines.com.Additional Information:The TIGREN TGN200TIG DC TIG Inverter Welder is a 2-in-1 inverter for powerful HF TIG and MMA/ARC welding, offering low current stability for welding thin material and lightweight and compact design for simple portability.
