The split design allows the tool to be separated into two sections for easier storage, transport and shipping, yet when assembled it delivers robust, repeatable torque application for large wheel and chassis fasteners. A push through ratchet head enables torqueing in both directions, while the profiled cam and reaction plate give a clear torque signal and a large break angle to reduce the risk of over tightening. Accuracy is within plus or minus four percent of reading, and a declaration of conformance is supplied to meet ISO 6789-1:2017 requirements. The handle is designed to guide the user to the correct grip position and the easy to read scale is shielded from dirt and spray.
