Sykes Pickavant GO452 Universal Glow Plug Tip Extraction Master Kit is designed to remove broken glow plug tips from diesel cylinder heads safely and precisely. Suitable for engines using M8x1, M9x1, M10x1 and M10x1.25 glow plug threads, the kit provides the tooling needed to drill, tap and extract detached glow plug electrodes without damaging the factory threads. The system uses guided drill extensions and tap guides to maintain perfect alignment using the original glow plug thread as a pilot. Once drilled and tapped, the supplied extraction rods and striking hammer allow the tip to be withdrawn cleanly from the combustion chamber port. Reinforced drilling tips support modern ceramic glow plug designs, ensuring effective cutting performance even in tough carbon build€‘up conditions.
