Sykes Pickavant GO1318 HGV Twin Wheel Separator Kit is designed to separate and disassemble twin wheels on heavy goods vehicles quickly and safely. The system uses supports and a spindle (fixed impact driver) to push the two rims apart, releasing corrosion bonds without hammering or prying between the wheels. Often, the rear rim can also be loosened by placing it on the brake drum. The kit is compact enough to be carried on board service vehicles, making it ideal for roadside assistance as well as workshop use. Two wheel€‘centring pins are included to protect wheel bolts, ease wheel alignment and help keep the brake drum in position on drum€‘braked axles.
