Sykes-Pickavant 8395000 Coil Spring Compressor with Universal Jaws is designed to dismantle MacPherson struts safely and handles approximately 90% of car applications. It provides a maximum working load of 1500 kg, using high strength jaws and a robust threaded body to compress suspension springs securely on the bench or in a vice. The large ergonomic adjusting handle makes manual positioning of the jaw fast and easy, while the jaws themselves are secured with strong bolts and feature a locking lip that captures the coil during compression for extra safety. TÜV-approved with a safety factor of four, this compressor is backed by a range of optional jaws to suit special applications from BMW, Mercedes, Renault and others.
