The Sykes Pickavant 08530900 HD Slide Hammer Assembly (9 lb) is a heavy-duty slide hammer designed to deliver greater impact for demanding pulling tasks, particularly when used with hub pullers and similar tools. Fully compatible with Sykes Pickavant puller ring plates, it can be threaded directly into the plate to convert a conventional screw-type puller into a powerful impact system. The assembly features an M20 x 2.5 slide hammer shaft thread and a 1½" 16 tpi Whitworth adaptor thread, giving strong, secure connections to matching puller components. With a full length of 840 mm, an effective working length of 700 mm and a mass of approximately 7.45 kg, the hammer provides substantial kinetic energy to help free seized hubs, bearings and other press-fit parts.
