Sykes Pickavant GO340 Mechanical Coil Spring Compressor is a versatile tool for handling MacPherson strut springs, rear axle springs and broken coil springs directly on the vehicle. Designed to allow removal of the spring strut from the axle casing without dropping the subframe or dismantling multiple suspension components, it significantly reduces labour time and the need for subsequent wheel alignment. The twin spindle design, each with right- and left-hand threads, provides a non-slip, balanced clamping action that keeps the spring secure throughout compression and decompression. With a maximum load of 800 kg, clamping width of 100-300 mm, and spindle ranges to cover short and long springs, the GO340 suits many VAG models such as Golf, Touran, Passat, as well as Audi, Skoda and Seat applications.
