BG SS2000 Lubricating Grease (6081, 453g tub) is a high-performance multi-purpose grease rated to a dropping point above 260C. Wheel bearings, chassis components, marine drives and industrial machinery all benefit from its high heat tolerance, water resistance and long-lasting protection. The formula stays pumpable in cold conditions and resists wash-off, including in saltwater environments. Low electrical conductivity makes it safe near battery terminals and wiring harnesses without causing interference. Good corrosion and oxidation resistance means less frequent relubrication is needed an advantage for equipment with difficult or time-consuming access to lubrication points. BG SS2000 Grease is well proven in automotive, marine and industrial settings. It performs consistently in the wide range of operating conditions that multi-purpose grease products are required to handle. The 453g tub suits bench application, hand-packing of wheel bearings, or any application where a grease gun cartridge is not needed. Also available as a 411g grease gun cartridge (SKU: 608E). The tub format is also useful for storing a quantity of grease for repeated use over a maintenance round, topping up from the tub as required. Keeping the lid sealed when not in use prevents contamination and maintains grease quality.
