BG Ethanol Corrosion Preventer (212100E, 100ml) forms a protective coating on fuel system components to prevent corrosion caused by ethanol-containing fuels such as E10. The adoption of E10 as the standard grade of petrol in the UK means that metal fuel system components ” particularly in older vehicles not originally designed for ethanol blends ” are increasingly at risk of ethanol-induced corrosion. BG Ethanol Corrosion Preventer forms a film on metal surfaces within the fuel system, protecting carburettors, fuel lines, pumps and other metal components from the corrosive effects of ethanol.
