Internal diesel injector deposits (IDIDs) are especially problematic in high-pressure common rail (HPCR) diesel systems, where they restrict fuel delivery and reduce combustion efficiency. BG 245 Premium Diesel Fuel System Cleaner (245E, 325ml) dissolves and removes deposits from the entire diesel injection system, including fuel injectors and combustion chambers. It lubricates fuel pumps and injectors to counter the reduced lubricity of low-sulphur diesel fuel, and contains a cetane improver. DPF, catalytic converter and oxygen sensor safe. Contains no alcohol. BG 245 lubricates fuel system components to compensate for the reduced lubricity of low-sulphur diesel fuel, helping to protect injectors, pumps and nozzles from accelerated wear. It restores power and fuel efficiency lost to deposit build-up, reduces diesel knock, and lowers exhaust emissions. Safe for use with diesel particulate filters (DPFs). Add directly to the diesel fuel tank at the recommended dose. Compatible with all diesel engines including modern HPCR systems. Also available in 946ml bulk (SKU: 24532).
