The puller uses a unique gripping principle where clamping sleeves with a special cutting profile penetrate even very small manufacturing gaps, allowing secure grip and extraction without slipping. This design enables the bearing ring to be fully gripped and removed without tilting, and it can operate in locations where an ABS pulse wheel is firmly attached to the hub, such as some VW Golf applications. The kit includes five grippers to cover bearings with diameters from 35-61 mm and is suitable for many vehicles from VW, Audi, BMW, Ford, Fiat, Mercedes, Opel, Renault, Peugeot and Volvo, as listed in the product text.
